About Erin

Erin Shaffer has always had a passion for photography. Her mother would become annoyed with her when she would take her camera and refuse to give it back. In 2010, Erin made it her job to educate herself in everything photography. Erin loves each and every one of the seven main areas of photography that you can see on her home page. She specializes in newborn photography, but enjoys all types. Three different times in 2014 and 2015 Erin's images were selected for "Photo of the week" by Prop Instantly (a community for photographers). In 2016 Erin's image was selected by Color Inc. (a professional printing lab) for their "Photo of the week". In 2018 and 2019 Erin was voted Central Penn Parents Best Family Photographer. In 2019 she moved into a commercial studio at Market Street in Camp Hill. In 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 she was voted Winner of Readers’ Choice or Simply the Best Photographer from Harrisburg Magazine.

Erin resides in Mechanicsburg, Pa with her wonderful husband and two amazing children and dog Duke.
